Worship Day 2: Jonah Worships in the Belly of a Fish
The brothers travel through time and land in… The smelly belly of a fish? What will they learn this time?
Chance the Cheetah, Drexel the Dragon, and Liam the Lion tumble out of the time portal and straight into something dark, slimy, and smelling strongly of fish! As Drexel lights up the space with a small flame, they realize—they’re inside the belly of a giant fish!
There, they find Jonah, seaweed in his hair and hands folded in prayer. The brothers listen as Jonah shares his story of running from God’s call, being swallowed by a giant fish, and finally turning back to God through worship—even in the darkest place.
As Jonah prays aloud, the brothers are amazed to hear praise instead of complaints. They learn that worship isn’t just about singing songs—it’s about trusting God, obeying Him, and remembering His faithfulness even when life feels confusing or scary.
When the whale finally spits Jonah out, the brothers reflect on how they can worship God in their own lives—not just with music, but with bravery, kindness, and trust.
This unforgettable, slightly slimy episode highlights Proverbs 3:5-6 and reminds kids that true worship means trusting God completely—even from the belly of a fish.
